Boyd Chevrolet Buick Announces Official Name Change to Boyd Chevrolet, Inc.
Hendersonville, NC - Effective September 1, 2024, Boyd Chevrolet Buick officially announced its rebrand to Boyd Chevrolet, Inc. to reflect the dealership's updated brand focus and ongoing commitment to the Chevrolet lineup.
This name change marks the dealership's evolution while maintaining the same ownership, leadership, and dedication to customer service that the community has trusted for decades. There have been no changes to management or operations - only a streamlined name to better represent the dealership's core identity.
"We are proud of our history serving Hendersonville and the surrounding areas," said owner Les Boyd III. "This update allows us to align our name with the services we provide today while continuing to deliver the same great experience our customers expect."
Boyd Chevrolet in Hendersonville, North Carolina, has proudly served the community for over 90 years. Founded in 1932 by LC Boyd Sr. as a Pontiac dealership in downtown Hendersonville, the business steadily expanded its footprint and reputation, eventually adding Buick and Cadillac franchises. The dealership relocated to Asheville Highway to accommodate growth, and in 1983, transitioned to second-generation leadership under Cam Boyd Jr. Boyd Chevrolet also operated a Pisgah Forest location until 2009, when it closed as part of General Motors' nationwide restructuring. In 2010, the dealership welcomed the Chevrolet franchise, prompting a new era of innovation that culminated in the opening of a state-of-the-art facility in 2013. Today, under the leadership of third-generation dealer Les Boyd, Boyd Chevrolet continues its legacy of customer-focused service, community involvement, and automotive excellence.
