The 2025 Silverado 1500 model will be available in the following nine trim levels:
- Chevy Silverado 1500 Work Truck
- Chevy Silverado 1500 Custom
- Chevy Silverado 1500 LT
- Chevy Silverado 1500 RST
- Chevy Silverado 1500 Custom Trail Boss
- Chevy Silverado 1500 LTZ
- Chevy Silverado 1500 LT Trail Boss
- Chevy Silverado 1500 High Country
- Chevy Silverado 1500 ZR2
The base-level Work Truck and Custom trims are ideal for tradespeople and families that need a practical pickup truck without a lot of bells and whistles. With these models, you’ll have manually adjustable front seats, manual locks and window controls, and vinyl seats.
When you get to the LT trim, the cabin gets noticeable upgrades. Higher trim levels include premium leather upholstery options and upgraded technology packages. It’s equipped with a 12.3-inch digital gauge cluster and a huge center touchscreen that supports both wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto connectivity.
New for 2025, the Silverado 1500 ZR2 has front and rear parking sensors as well as a seven-speaker Bose premium sound system to make your playlist sound better than ever.
The Silverado 1500 is also customizable and comes in three cab configurations: regular, double, and crew. The bold front end leads to a conventional bed.
Engine Options and Performance Specs
The 2500 Silverado is available with four engine options:
- 2.7-Liter Turbocharged Inline-4 - The standard engine for most trims. This option offers both power and efficiency, delivering 310 horsepower, 430 lb.-ft, of torque, and a max towing capacity of 9,500 pounds.
- 5.3-Liter V8 - A step up, this engine is a popular upgrade. It produces 355 horsepower, 383 lb.-ft. of torque, and a max towing capacity of 11,500 pounds.
- 6.2-Liter V8 - If you want more power, you’ll love the 6.2-liter V8. With this engine, you’ll get 420 horsepower and 460 lb.-ft. of torque. With a max towing capacity of 13,300 pounds, it’s ideal for drivers who regularly tow trailers.
- 3.0-Liter Duramax® Turbo-Diesel I-6 - Fuel efficient and made for high towing capacity, the Duramax® Turbo-Diesel engine is up for any challenge. It delivers 305 horsepower, 495 lb.-ft. of torque, and a max towing capacity of 13,300 pounds.
Each model, except the Trail Boss, offers a choice of rear- or four-wheel drive. The Trail Boss is only available as a four-wheel drive truck.
