Emergencies happen while driving. That's why it's important to prepare for the worst on the road. An emergency kit could save your life at best, and at least it could prevent an uncomfortable situation or inconvenient delay.
Don't forget to store these items in your car's emergency kit:
- Jumper cables/battery pack
Jumper cables or a battery pack will help you from being stranded due to a dead battery.
- First aid kit
Keep a first aid kit in your car at all times to handle medical emergencies on and off the road.
- Drinking water/water filter
Keeping a jug full of drinking water is always a good idea, and it can even serve for topping off the coolant on long road trips.
- Spare tire kit
Don't be stranded on the side of the road with a flat tire. Keep your spare tire inflated to spec and a scissor jack on hand at all times.
